Hello Boys and Girls,
I would like to begin by welcoming you to the new site and I truly hope you enjoy it. I also want to tell you my own personal story about Medical Cannabis.
Once upon a time, in a land far far away, I was exposed to numerous toxic elements such as chemical
weapons, depleted uranium, and experimental vaccines, which has
destroyed my Gastrointestinal Tract and confused it into attacking
itself. I wake up feeling hungover everyday and have an extremely rigid
diet which doesn't help my already tiny appetite. I also crushed my leg
getting thrown from the back of a 7-ton truck swerving to avoid a
landmine which has resulted in nerve damage to my left foot. This
causes me occasional extreme pain and inability to run more than a few
feet (ever.) To the average person I appear normal (although lately I
have been losing a lot of weight, and I sometimes am forced to kinda
limp on my bad foot) but I am truly sick. I happen to be one of those
"semi-young white males with no visible disabilities," that everyone
likes to blame for all the evil in the Medical Cannabis Industry. For
those of you out there that may be quick to point the finger (you know
who you are) please, I am begging you to keep in mind we all suffer
differently. I'm not out doing this to get high, as a matter of fact I
had to end a career as a pilot because of all this, I do this to
survive. I do this to be able to have the strength to raise my kids
without being all strung out on all the awful pills I have been
prescribed by the same people responsible for getting me sick in the
first place. If I took all the pills given to me by the VA, I would be
on over 25 pills a day + dietary supplements. Now I take just 2, and
only when my symptoms flare up, along with my all day Cannabis
regiment. I can leave the house again which is nice. Its certainly not
the cure, but without Medical Cannabis my life would be miserable, and
I would most likely look like a holocaust victim instead of your
typical 26 year old guy.
Stay Medicated and Be Safe,
-Sharkey
