On the chopping block today is this fine specimen of Grapefruit Krush from Creative Care Collective (Delivery) in North County San Diego. This bud is very similar in looks and effects to DJ Short's Grape Krush but with an added sourness to the terpines. While it certainly smells pungently of grapefruit, there is also a light hay scent in the background which need to be mentioned. This could also explain the sparks when burnt, a telltale sign of an incomplete nutrient flush when the grower harvested his crop. Growing medium and methods were unknown. Buds are light and semi-airy. Under 30x magnification, in between the calyxes, trichome heads are quite abundant with a 50/50 spread of cloudy to clear heads. Tastes fruity and crisp. High is pleasant and very indicative of the trichomes with a mellow but not paralyzing Indica effect.
